Mar Vista Rooms for Rent (2-3 available)

Hi everyone — I’m Kaitlyn, 29, work remotely in tech sales, and looking to fill 2–3 bedrooms in a really special 5-bedroom / 4-bath house in Mar Vista, between Venice and Santa Monica, starting around June.

I’m hoping to keep it a calm, comfortable, clean, safe, welcoming home — ideally with respectful people around a similar age / stage of life (preferably no couples).

Rent is under $2,500 depending on room / garage setup, with garage parking available. The house gets so much natural light, has a big grassy backyard, 3 patios (2 with ocean views), easy highway access, and somehow is still under 12 minutes to the beach if you drive fast 🙂

I’ve put a lot of time, energy, and money into making it feel like home — reworking parts of the space, adding thoughtful decor, and somehow keeping an absurd amount of plants alive. It’ll be my third year living here, which probably says a lot about how much I genuinely love the space.

Would love for it to feel friendly and natural — open to occasional hangs, but also totally fine if it’s more of a respectful housemate setup.

I work from home, am pretty low-key overall, and really value a home that feels easy, comfortable, and good to come back to. I also appreciate people who are thoughtful about shared space.

I also have an almost 7-year-old very sweet mutt, and I’m open to other dogs / possibly cats.
