26 y/o queer guy with a very old cat

Hello! I'm a 26-year-old young professional. I'm relocating from Texas to NYC. I'm ideally looking for places in western Brooklyn or in northern Manhattan.

I have a mix of nerdy hobbies and I'd love to live with other nerdy people; ideally other professionals and ideally queer, but I'm flexible.

I work in the publishing industry, and I work mostly from home. I like to keep my space tidy, but I also like to clean, so I'm happy to take on additional cleaning duties if you can forgive the few weeks a year when my work gets very busy and I don't have much time to clean.

I have a seventeen-year-old cat. He's very sweet, and he got along well with my other (late) cat before she passed. He can be a bit vocal due to his age, but he spends most of the day on my lap.

My hobbies include reading, writing, playing video games, birding, and knitting/crocheting. I'm a hobbyist musician, but I very rarely play my violin or guitar and mostly stick to making electronic music (with headphones in). I'd love to have a roommate with similar interests to mine!
