Room wanted in Los Angeles

Hey all! I’m a 29 year old professional who’s been in LA for about 7 years. I’m looking for a medium-to-large private room, preferably with parking and laundry on-site (street parking is ok depending on the area). I don’t smoke, but I’m as 4/20 friendly or unfriendly as required. My budget is $1500. I would prefer a month-to-month situation, but would also be open to a six-month lease.

I am gay, and have only ever lived with girls and gays, but most of my best friends are straight guys and I’d be open to living with anyone. Just preferably not with anyone who is openly homophobic.

I used to work in TV/film development, currently full-time at Trader Joe’s while I figure out my professional pivot. I work full-time on-site, usually in the mornings (so I’m gone from about 6am-4pm most days).

I’d be a great roommate mostly because of my conscientiousness of how much noise I make. I walk everywhere on the balls of my feet (no stomping!), I don’t slam doors or toilet seats, I use headphones, and I’m not the kind of person who bangs around in the kitchen early in the morning. I’m very tidy, quick to clean up any messes, respectful of others’ property and possessions, and don’t start drama. I also love to cook, preferably for a group, and I get a 20% grocery discount :D

In my spare time, I try to go to the gym, see movies and concerts with my friends, hit new happy hours/cheap eats destinations, go camping and hiking, and cook new recipes. I like to travel and go snowboarding when funds permit. I’m also a musician, but it’s pretty much just limited to classical guitar and keyboard stuff (with headphones), so noise shouldn’t ever be an issue.
