I need a private room safe and affordable

In search of a roommate situation.
I moved to Florida May 2023 to help a childhood friend save her home from eviction. After almost four years and watching my childhood friend loose herself to addictions I had no choice but to move out- now I am struggling myself with the insane rental costs and am diligently searching for safe, affordable housing.
A friend turned me onto spareroom and padsplit and here I am.
I am a military mom and both of my grown sons are highranking service members who are not able to assist me with housing.
The more people I meet and talk to are not in a financial situation to afford to live alone. It is so common now for several adults from all backgrounds living under the same roof.
My kids upbringing speaks for my character. I just cannot afford to live on my own either. Thank you for this opportunity to get back on my feet. I've made Florida my home and wouldn't change that escaping thd brutal weather back north. Thank you.
