Looking for a room for 6 months :)

Hi! I’m Melody, a 22‑year‑old French law student coming to NYC for a 6‑month internship with the United Nations (February–August 2026). I’m looking for a furnished room in a shared apartment with respectful, tidy roommates.

About me :

Master’s student in comparative and international law (French/English systems). Coming for a full‑time internship, mostly 9–5, Monday to Friday
Calm, clean and considerate, I like quiet evenings during the week and I’m very mindful of shared spaces.
No pets, but I’m animal‑friendly and comfortable around cats/dogs
I speak french fluently, english and Spanish.

What I’m looking for :

Location: Manhattan (Washington Heights, Harlem, UWS, Midtown) or nearby Brooklyn/Queens with easy subway access to Manhattan

Dates: from around mid-february (flexible a bit earlier/later) to mid or end of August 2026

Furnished private room (single or double bed), with access to a decent kitchen, Wi‑Fi and laundry in the building or nearby

Clean, respectful roommates who value a peaceful, friendly atmosphere.

I’ll be out most days at my internship and sometimes working or studying quietly at home in the evenings/weekends. I’m easy‑going, respectful of boundaries and privacy, and always pay rent on time.
