Room wanted in Arcata, CA

I am a female student aged 39. I am available to move from 08/01/2026 and have a budget of $700/month. I would like to share with females of any age. I'm an older college student who's looking for a chill and tidy roommate. I probably wouldn't be a great roomie for someone who's fastidious. I keep common areas clean and do my half of the chores, but I'm not worried about a little bit of dust or floors you can eat off of. I'm good if there isn't a pile of dishes in the sink, trash overflowing, or a whole bunch of hair in the drain. I'm respectful, conscientious, and kind. I'm good at respecting boundaries and speaking about mine. I have great communication skills and conflict resolution skills. I'm also fun and easygoing. I have cats and am hoping to find a place where I can have at least two of them. With the right roomie and living situation, I'd love to bring all 4. I'm somewhere between "as quiet as a mouse" and "ragers every Saturday." I have a loud laugh, and my voice can carry, but I'm otherwise not a noisy person. I'm a social person and would like to have people over occasionally, but I'm also not the type of person to have people over every day, or for lots of loud parties. I like to have a space where I'm allowed to be social, but I also think that there has to be mutual agreement from roomates of when and how many people are going to be visiting. I even love the occasional shin-dig, but again, this requires a discussion between roommates and all parties being aligned with said shin-dig. Lastly, I have no issues with drinking or smoking, as long as it doesn't impede on my life (i. e. youre not drunkenly banging on my door or leaving butts everywhere but the trash). What you do with your body and life is your decision. I only draw the line at drugs that would get our living spaces raided by authorities, or put my health and peace at risk. I would expect the same attitude from my roommate
