Hi there folks! I am a woman of a certain age who, along with her 21 year old son needs a room for a month or two. to rebuild my savings and life. I am back in the US/New York after losing everything of my semi-retirement to Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica. I have been living with my dear son since November, and now that I am working for the NYCDOE as an English teacher (again!) I would like to move closer to my new high school. I love Inwood Heights, where my son has lived for the past 2.5 years (reference!), but the commute is quite extensive. My son works as an optician's assistant in Lower Manhattan.
