Looking for a room in NYC

Hey future roommate!


I’m currently looking for a room in New York City. I’m especially interested in the Upper West Side, Midtown, Long Island City, Astoria, and Murray Hill, but I’m totally open to other neighborhoods if it feels like a good fit.

I’m friendly, easygoing, and respectful. I’ve lived in different countries and speak four languages. I enjoy having my own space, but I’d also love to live somewhere where we can occasionally chat after work or share a meal.
I keep common areas clean and organized, and I really value a peaceful but friendly environment.

I’m moving to NYC for work and plan to stay for several years, so I’m looking for something stable and long-term (12 months to start). My move-in timeline is early to mid-March.

I work in the office 9–5 at least four days a week so I will not work from home much.

I’m looking for a non-smoking, no-pets apartment. My only must-have is laundry in the apartment or in the building.
