URGENT SUBLET ROOM NEEDED!!

🚨We are urgently looking for a room in a peaceful home to get out of a current unsafe living situation!!! With that being said, if you do not like black queer people please keep scrolling!!!!

We’re Liv and Taj! We are looking for a true bedroom sublet to share starting in November for $1000 a month including utilities with at least a 3 month stay (slightly flexible with money and timeline for the right fit!) We’ve been rooming together for about 4 years now and are very comfortable living together in close quarters. We are okay with you running a background check, will provide first month’s rent and can pay a half month’s worth of rent for a deposit if required.

We are VERY CLEAN, QUIET, and NO DRAMA type of people! We’re reliable, respectful and responsible roommates who have lived with other roommates together before. We value being on the same page as our roommates on housing matters for smooth living. We also value safety, peace, privacy, mutual respect, transparency, complete communication and CLEANLINESS in a shared home!!

Outside of the “professional roommate expectations” we are:

* In our mid twenties

* Hard working

* Chill and easy to live / get along with

* Friendly, considerate and open minded

* We have no pets but are cat lovers

* Clean eaters

* 4/20 friendly, don’t really drink

We are cool with just co-living but are also open and encourage creating true connections and friendships with our roommates if you are!!

* Must be QUEER AND POC or at least 1 roommate already living there must be!

* No drama, women-only household (no men!)

* Must be able to send videos of bedroom, bathroom and common areas of apartment and video chat (We don’t live in the state yet but have a couple family members that do and will come tour for us in person if required)

* Must be clean, respectful and communicative roommates!

* Peaceful environment — not a party household (however we do enjoy hosting and gatherings sometimes)

* Within a 10-minute walk to trains and grocery stores or markets

* Must be a true bedroom with a window and closet

* Washer/dryer in unit preferred, but okay if in-building or on the same street

* Budget: $1200 max, including all utilities (Wi-Fi/internet, heat, A/C, electric)

Hiii I’m Liv (she/they) I was born in North Dakota. I have a whimsy, nurturing, creative and passionate personality. I enjoy a calm living environment where everyone feels comfortable and our place feels homey. I mainly paint but I’m into anything artistic and love to create. I also love baking, cooking, and trying out new recipes, my favorite part is having people to share with! My hobbies include: yoga, thrifting, movies, roller skating, exploring new places and spending time in nature and I’m getting into pole dancing! I sell my creations and upcycle / resell clothes on the side. I also work as a barista and bartender.

Hey I’m Taj (she/they), born and raised in Harlem NYC. My personality is quirky, sweet and nerdy and I love to laugh and make everyday a fun day! Im super friendly and enjoy chatting about random stuff if you’ll let me! My hobbies include: thrifting, working out, art, learning new things, movies, and games. If you’re down, I would love to have game night sometimes! I also upcycle and resell clothes on the side. I’ll be working full time at a grocery or retail store and working towards becoming a part time student again to finish out my last year 1/2 of college.
