Room wanted in NYC

I’ll actually write this myself and not ChatGPT it, so maybe it’ll be worth reading. I’m a 26 year old aerospace engineer turned to software. I’m originally from NYS, but I’ve been in SC for 5 years. I have a remote role and can WFH so I’m looking to try out NYC for a few months to see how I like being closer to my family (I’m looking for a 3 months, short-term furnished room to begin with, preferably with the option to extend.)

As for myself: I was a theatre kid turned west coast swing (WCS) dancer, so now I travel the country (and world) climbing my way through the ranks of the competitive WCS circuit. I spend a lot of my time dancing/practicing dance, but I also enjoy playing recreational soccer or volleyball. I’m almost always listening to music, no matter what I’m doing.

I’m relatively easy going. I cook most of my own meals and rarely eat out. I don’t have any pets (and am allergic to most of them). I like to be friends with my roommates rather than just people we see in passing. My current roommate is watching Game of Thrones with me for the first time. We get along well.
