Working Professional Seeking Room close to Nature

Hello! My name is Zara. I moved to NYC from the SF Bay Area in January 2025 to continue my professional dance career. I am 27 years old with a BFA in dance. I’m currently shifting into pursuing dance part time on the side to focus more on full time administrative work.

I’m currently living on the upper east side (Manhattan) in a community-style living residence, but I am seeking more affordable housing out of the city closer to nature. Budget is ideally $500-800 monthly.

I am respectful, clean, organized. I am an early sleeper and early riser. I do not smoke nor drink. I enjoy connecting with my housemates and also respect alone time. I am a healthy eater and live a healthy, active lifestyle. When I’m not working I enjoy exercising and workouts, long walks and hiking, reading, and grabbing a coffee with a friend catching up. I like to cook - typically once a week meal prep.

It is important to me to keep a clean household and that my housemates contribute to the cleaning responsibilities. In the past we’ve used cleaning charts on a rotation, or assigned cleaning roles. Weekly cleaning would be a preferred standard. Happy to discuss what works best for the household as a whole.
