Room wanted in Long Island City, Queens, NY

Hello, my name is Jessamine and I will be moving to new york in early January with my little cat Bea.

About me: I am friendly and kind of an ambivert. I do not drink or smoke, but dont mind if you do (as long as its not around me please). Since I am moving to new york all the way for new mexico, I won't know very many people in the area. I will not force you to be my friend, but am totally open to new friendships. I like to cook and bake and will respect any dietary restrictions that you may have. I'd appreciate for house/apartment upkeep to be shared.

About my cat: I have a female domestic shorthair cat named Bea. She doesn't shed very much and has never not used her litter box. She is spayed and her rabies shot is up to date. Although I would love for her to be able to roam freely around the house/apartment, I will be perfectly okay with confining her to my room if you would like me to do so.

I am looking for a friendly roommate/roommates to share a space with for a little bit until I can find my own apartment.

My perceived move in date is January 2nd.
