Visiting Columbia Scholar Seeking Quiet Room (Jan–

I am a 24-year-old exchange student/scholar who will be joining Columbia University from January 1st to June 2026. I’m looking for a quiet, clean, and furnished room within walking distance or easy access to campus.

A bit about me: I’m a graduate student at École Normale Supérieure (ENS-PSL) in Paris, working in neuroscience, AI, and psychology. I’m respectful, tidy, calm, and used to shared living environments. I don’t smoke, don’t host parties. I value a peaceful home and a good atmosphere with roommates.

What I’m looking for:

A clean, furnished room (private or shared apartment)

Access to a kitchen.

A quiet and respectful household

A place suitable for focused work and study

What to expect living with me:
I keep common areas clean, follow house rules, and maintain a low-key routine. I’ll be away during the day for research or classes, and I spend my evenings reading or working. I’m friendly, easy to talk to, and very considerate of others’ space and schedules.

Since I am not currently in New York, only virtual visits or video calls are possible before my arrival.
