Easy Going Roommate

I am a 51 year old recently divorced woman who recently moved to California from upstate NY. I used to live in the Bay Area (San Mateo, San Ramon) and currently, I am looking to find a teaching job. I haven't decided where I wanted to settle. I am currently living in suburbs of Sacramento but I realized Sacramento is too small for me and I miss many aspects of the Bay Area and my signficant other lives in El Cerrito might have something to do with that too. I do have a car so I will need parking so if finding parking is hard, that will be a problem. I love to cook and bake (a hobby I take very seriously). I am a foodie. I love listening to music, going to zumba, being out in nature, reading, writing poetry, photography, and cooking. I am quiet and get along with most people. I don't mind sharing either. I believe in keeping the communal area clean and neat and being respectful of my roommates. If you want a referral from them, I can get you that. I have rented and as well as owning my own home. I feel the the most important part for me is to see how we get along. I want to be in a home where I feel my roommate is a friend as well. I've been in situation n where we were just roommates and I didn't really enjoy that at all. I don't mean we need to be besties but that we are friends. I feel open communication is best too. I am pretty easy going
