IT professional

Hello! I’m looking for a room to rent for about 6 months from Jan - Jun 2026. I’m a SoCal native, been out here on the EC for 1.5 years, I work in IT (analytics), and am a divorced dad to my 7yo son who stays with me 3 wknds/mo.

I’m remote/WFH but often work at the library or cafes/coffee shops. I often take my son on weekends during the day to Theme parks, trains, etc. so we’d mostly be outside the house most of the time. He is super friendly and social, but of course I’ll respect everyone’s boundaries.

Basements would be ideal, but rooms work just as well too. I have one car, a queen size bed, and a large-ish standing desk. I’ll be putting the rest of my big stuff in storage or selling off.

I’m into working out 3-4x/week, tech/ai, pickleball, and maintaining an active/heathy lifestyle. I don’t smoke and very occasionally have a drink (usually one cocktail at the most).
