Room wanted in Katy, TX

I am available to move as soon as possible and have a budget of $800/month. I would like to share with males or females ideally between 550and 65 years old.
I am a divorced male 71 years young, a retired male, 47 years plus years of work history, a father of 4, a grandfather of 5, a great grandfather of 1. I am not and have never been a criminal or been convicted, no drugs use of any kind. I may have an occasional drink with friends or special occasions. I am a god fearing man and attend church some Sundays. I am as athletic as a 71 year old male can be, I think. I have been described as a happy go lucky person, opinionated but none aggressive. I love most sports, fishing, good movies, theatre, I love music and dancing, I like cooking from barbecue to baking. I like card games (spades, Bid Whist, Gin Rummy 500), I like to shot pool and bowling. I love good comedy shows, It’s hard to miss me when there are fun things to do. I have owned 3 homes in my past most recently in Fairburn, Ga. I am originally from Los Angeles, Ca. and have lived in Chicago, IL, Arlington, Tx. Fairburn, Ga. After my divorce in 2023 I came to Texas to care for my mother, she passed away three months later at the age of 90, yes I was blessed to have her for many years, eight months later I lost my best male friend, my brother-in-law of 47 years. Now I just want to enjoy and share my knowledge and experience, we never know how life will turn out. I have had a good life and very blessed, so many blessings. There are so many things learned in life until I could right a book and it would sell, I believe, my kids tell me I should do that. As long as I can live my life healthy I want to be independent of my kids as long as I can, my three girls are professionals, my son is very respectful but still trying to understand stand manhood and its challenges. Of course the girls want me in LA close to them but I am not ready to become a dependent yet, I think I have another ten good years, god willing. I am not really into politics but many tim can believe some of the cruel things that are being done to American citizens. I want to find a good person to share living space with, a room in a home would be great, I would accept and apartment if the location is decent. I have transportation and so far a great driving record, sometimes I like using public transportation. I also don’t count out working part-time at some point, you never know. Plain and simple within the 71 years of my life I have had plenty good times, plenty blessings and very few sad days. I am not cheep but when your on a fixed in come it’s time to down size and make some major changes and continue life with a smile. So if there is anyone out there that can put up with a 71 year young male let’s talk. In the mean while god bless and keep enjoying life.
