Looking for a New Place Closer to Work

Priority is having a 30ish-minute or shorter commute to Dumbo via Subway line (not bus).

Quick Intro:

I’m Mark, 30, and I work full-time as a marketing manager at a tech company (9–5, hybrid 3 days in office). Looking for a spot that feels grounded and comfortable—not needing to be best friends but, I’d love a warm, respectful dynamic at home and if an organic friendship forms then great.

Outside of work, I’m pretty social—into playing/listening to music (I play drums and guitar, likely won’t be bringing anything with me though), board game nights, art/fashion events, film/movies, comedy shows, underground concerts, nightlife/dancing, etc.—but I’m also independent and out and about a lot solo.

I’m clean, cook often, and an open communicator. Totally cool with noise and overnight guests as long as it’s respectful. I don’t have pets but are fine with them, and I’m straight but LGBTQ-friendly and comfortable living with any gender (I’ve lived with all kinds of roommates before).

Bonus points:

I'd love to have a (real) grocery store nearby, not just a deli or bodega, also looking for an under 25 min public transit into manhattan if possible.

One last thing- I’d like to know some details on whether you’ve had any pests (mice, roaches, etc.) in the unit at all. I know it’s normal, but just to gauge the severity.
