Room wanted in NYC

Hi there! I'm Andrew, and I'm on the lookout for a place to call home in NYC. I'm hoping to find a room in an apartment or house, and I'm eager to move in the 1st of the New Year.

After living in NYC for over 20 years, I moved to New Paltz (where my family is) about six months ago. It didn't take long to realize NYC is my home, I miss it dearly, and want to return permanently with all speed.

I'm looking for a relaxed and comfortable living situation and understand the importance of respecting personal space and maintaining a clean and tidy environment. My maximum budget for rent is $1600 per month. I believe in clear communication and open dialogue, and I'm confident I can be a considerate and responsible housemate.

After a decade working at an HIV/AIDS organization and another 18 years working for women's reproductive rights, I currently make my living as a nonprofit consultant, working with progressive nonprofits to build their organizations and support their issues.
