Looking for a short-term lease/sublet

Hi all!
I’m looking for a short-term room/sublet starting by September 1 (or ASAP), ideally through the end of December. A month-to-month arrangement would be ideal, since I may stay longer if my job transitions to permanent.

I’m starting a new contract position as a graphic designer in Midtown. I’ll be working remotely Mondays and Fridays and in the office Tuesday–Thursday.

What I’m looking for:
Budget: $1,100–$1,700/month
Preferably a private bathroom, but open to sharing for the right place
Ideally 1–2 roommates max
Mostly looking in Astoria, but open to other neighborhoods with an ~20–30 minute commute to Midtown
Move-in: September 1 or ASAP
Short-term/month-to-month preferred

A little about me: I’m clean, considerate, respectful, and pretty easygoing. I work full-time and value a home that’s comfortable, peaceful, and kept clean. I expect the same from roommates.
