Looking for a human to team up with/ shared housin

Hi there :) My name is Kitty and I am interested in shared, communal house with a mold safe room that is cat friendly OR teaming up with folks who want to create a new community home. My budget is 800-1300 with utilities along Richmond, el cerrito, Berkeley or Oakland. I could stretch for the right spot as long! Please read along to hear more details!

I’m a 28-year-old queer, neurodivergent woman of color looking for a peaceful, safe new home. I’d be moving with my sweet 5-year-old tabby cat, Mew — he’s super friendly, sweet and well-behaved :) Swipe to see my precious baby mans hehe

I’d describe myself as a kind, caring, colorful, and creative human! I’m an ambivert who enjoys connection and community but also values alone time to recharge. For work, I’m a children’s circus arts and hula hoop teacher, jewelry maker/small biz owner, and dancer (hooping is my main jam!).

I also dogsit, babysit, and do children’s entertainment.
Outside of work, I love exploring nature, thrifting, belly dance, going to festivals, singing, and doing harm reduction work.

Living Style/ Needs:

I’m looking for a home where I can live with queer, trans, and femme-of-center folks — those are the communities I feel most comfortable and aligned with 💜 That said, I’m flexible and open to sharing space with anyone who is kind, communicative, and grounded.

Because both my previous and current homes have had mold and water damage, finding a safe, mold-free space (no active leaks or water issues) is absolutely essential for my health and healing. I’m clean, mindful, and want to feel good in my body and in community.

I’m all about cozy, creative hangs and shared moments, but also deeply respect personal space and the need for quiet or downtime.
I’m sex-positive, polyamorous, and occasionally drink. I prefer a home that’s quiet most of the time, but I also enjoy listening to music and singing and would like to have guests over occasionally — so a balance of sound feels best.

I’m not looking for a full co-op situation — I prefer to keep things like groceries and schedules separate — but I love being part of a home where people are thoughtful, warm, engaged and somewhat community oriented ~ not a deal breaker though!

I’m also hoping for a bit of storage space for my work materials (hula hoops, jewelry vending supplies, etc), and non-permitted street parking is ideal! A backyard would be lovely too!
