Relocating to Charlotte

I am a 33 year old professional. Single, no kids or pets. My lease is up 6/2/25 and I'm planning to relocate by then or hopefully sooner.

I lived in Charlotte 11 years ago and always said I'd move back as I loved it and it is now or never. I will be moving from Michigan. Which is why I'm getting a headstart as I would like to secure a place for when I move.

Looking to rent a room for short or long term around Mecklenburg County or even surrounding areas. My budget is between $400-$800 a month. I'm looking to live with mature professionals such as myself and around my age. Open to older.

I'm looking to room with clean and drama free people. Possibly roommates I can socialize with and hopefully find similar interests. I am 420 friendly so I'm ok with smoking but cigarettes I would prefer be outside and a social drinker.

I enjoy the outdoors, arcades, bowling, museums, shooting pool, working out, traveling, nightlife occasionally just to name a few. I'm also a chef so cooking and baking is a passion of mine.

Looking to move as soon as my lease is up in June. I will be flying out May 21-23 and would like to check out places, meet potential roommates and hopefully put a deposit down to secure my room.
