$1000 Budget, 58, Needs Place Now - OC Only

Greetings everyone! Well, I had a place lined up, but the dates got pushed back and I need to move ASAP and am ready to. The owners of the place I've been renting a room in are selling the property, so I need to get myself out. My budget is $1000 and I can go a little further at present.

About me, I'm a working full time (40 hours, 5 days a week M-F, 9to5) professional and have been at the same job for the last three years. My work is in Costa Mesa and I rely on OCTA to get about. Hence, I'm looking for somewhere close to work (Irvine, Costa Mesa, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, Newport Beach, Tustin and adjacent) so I can have a reasonable commute. I'm clean, quiet, up early and respectful, rarely go out but also pretty handy to help out. Most everything is in storage, so I come with just the basics to get by. I'm 58 (old school Gen X) & get along well with others. Easy going and enjoy a good laugh. Hope to hear from you. - Charlie
