Looking for a Room Immediately

hello there. my name is douglas and i am a quiet, clean, responsible person, a very good tenant i always pay on time, a private person, low impact, respectful, polite and cordial. i am comfortable in my own skin.

I have been renting a room in 89123 for 20 months now but its time for a change. Seeking single story, flooring pet friendly small animal household. I work 40 hours my pup goes with me to work.

open to roomies teamups with the right person or persons. i have no criminal history of any import, no convictions or evictions or bankruptcies, a fully bondable person of good character with fair to good credit. i have a wealth of life experience, a good student with some college and vocational education but no degree, am politically left of center by nature, open minded, am in reasonably good health and have no special needs other than for my pet. i have rented pet friendly situations previously and like it for the simplicity, frugality and community. will stay with you a long time as long as things are healthy. originally from los angeles area, have lived in seattle, nashville, santa fe and albuquerque, and all over so cal.

i have been a homeowner in the past so i understand and respect your interests in this arrangement. in my past i have worked in service jobs, industrial functions, newspaper publishing, commercial printing, and between jobs used to play music for a living. i love music from the 70s and new music, all genres of art. semi retired now working in hotels mostly 3-11. i am usually well liked by my coworkers: i am always on time, willing to work late, cover any shift and reasonably amenable. please note, i try to avoid social media and my inner clock rotates, so i go through periods where im a night owl and then an early riser, but i stay quiet in my room working or goofing off on the pc.

as a senior citizen i am receiving ss payments as a base for my income. my investments, main gig and side hustle activities cover everything else. i will continue to work so i can invest for future dividends, but that said i am trying to keep my budget as far under $800 as possible. i am single, childless with no family living yet mostly happy and social. i try to remain organized and tidy but i am not a clean freak.

i usually take my dog out with me for errands and walk him a lot but i need a place where my animal is safe while im at work or out for an evening. I WILL NEVER ABANDON HIM. he is very social, not at all barky, has all his shots, is in very good health for 15 and has lived with other animals before. every animal person loves him, we visit a lot of dog parks and he will find a place in your heart, too. at only 9lbs he prefers a home with a doggy door but we are very flexible and can work with your present pet amenities. I am diligent about picking up after him and keep his area tidy in respect to others. Hoping to find a stable safe environment for us to live.

last place of residence was with former girlfriend for two years in santa fe, rented a room in a home for three years prior to that, and another room in a home for two years before that. i was a homeowner until 2015.

i will respect the rules in your home and will do everything i can to remain within your living arrangement guidelines. im not much of a drinker but i do enjoy social libations on occasion, i might go out for a beer or a cocktail with dinner. no other issues or nasty habits. just looking for a room and private bath preferred, nothing worse than getting up to pee in the middle of the night knowing you might disturb others.
