Thanks for reading my ad. My legal birth name is Heidi; I go mostly by my chosen Hebrew name; Tehilla, (sounds like “tequila”; which is ironic because I hardly ever drink alcohol).

I’m very youthful & non-traditional for my biological age. I have friends of ages from their twenties thru their nineties from my interactions within various communities. I have learned a lot about what is helpful to work out issues involved in sharing a home by having lived with roommates of various ages. I love, respect & cherish diversity & acceptance of all!

With all the intensity & overstimulation of our nervous systems in today’s world, it’s so nice to have a home be a place of calm & peace to retreat back to after engaging in the outside world’s challenging adventures.

I try the best I can to balance my needs for connection & community with my needs for time of solitude & quiet. I love to sometimes take time to decompress by playing board games or watching movies with roommates and I also value my (and my roommates) needs for alone time.

My ESA cat is very important to me. I got Mochi right as the pandemic started in 2020 and we are very attached. If my roommates prefer to not have a car in the shared spaces, Mochi is fine staying only inside my room behind a closed door. He has also lived well with other cats and a dog.

I am a visual & performance artist who loves creative expression & endeavors of all kinds such as making art & being in plays as well as going to live theatre, art museums/galleries and small venue live music. I also like occasionally having friends over at times that are agreed upon with roommates in advance so that no one is surprised. (Of course, in home spontaneous hang-outs with housemates can often be wonderful too.)

What seems to work best is honest & clear communication. I have found that talking about our respective desires and/or needs for living style compatibility ahead of time helps a lot. I look forward to having a conversation with you, (instead of texting,) to explore our possible potential as roommates.
