Assistant Teacher Seeking Housing

Working professional in my mid-40s seeking a peaceful place to call home after October 1, 2026.

I’m an Assistant Teacher at a well-known Montessori school with steady employment, including a signed contract through the current school year. I’m clean, organized, respectful, quiet, and congenial. No pets, have a vehicle and need parking. Rental references and employment verification available upon request. No evictions or bankruptcies.

I’m open to a private apartment, studio, basement/in-law unit, or room/share, including areas within about a 30-minute commute of Charlottesville. Open to male or female housemates.

Preferences: furnished for monthly/6-month arrangements; unfurnished for a 12-month lease (2+ rooms); laundry on site; utilities included if possible.

I’m also open to reduced rent in exchange for companion care or childcare and have previous companion-care experience.

I’m a homebody and am looking for a quiet, peaceful environment where I can relax, cook, pray, meditate, and enjoy my coffee or tea. ❤️
