Londoner moving to New York

I'm a professional software engineer that was born and raised in London.

I'm moving to New York at the end of May - and want to ideally find a short term let (approx 1 month) so that I can browse around and find an appartment for myself.

I'm clean, sociable, friendly and get along well easily with people.

I'll mostly be requiring a place just to rest whilst I'm not working and apartment hunting.
