Hi! I'm interested in an apartment/house near a metro station or bus stop I could use to commute as I don't have a car. I'm looking for a safe neighborhood (no preference if it's in MD, VA, or DC, but metro accessibility is non-negotiable) and I would prefer to room with other women. Ideally, with someone who is also in the property regularly, for safety purposes. Queer people welcome :)
My work schedule will be Mon - Fri. I wake up early for my job and work 7:15 - 4 PM.
I'm very laid back and I prefer a quieter environment. Cleaning is important to me and I’m more than happy to stick to a cleaning schedule between roommates. I enjoy reading, writing, baking, and having time to decompress. I can be social, but I mirror the social energy of the people I'm living with - so no pressure to hang out. I’m not a party person, but I’d like to occasionally have my parents or friends visit me.
In particular, I'm eager to explore the arts and culture section of D. C. and wouldn't mind having someone to explore that with. I'm a self-taught polyglot and I would love to practice my languages, or to learn some new ones :)
