Young professional from DC moving to NYC in June

My name's Jeffrey. I'm an interior architect living in Washington, DC moving to NYC in June for a promotion. Will be starting work July 1st but wanting to live in the city a little before then. I work from home 2-3 days a week with an office by Penn Station. I'm very open (within reason) to any neighborhood in the city and looking for a roommate who already has an apartment or looking to find one together.
I'm clean, quiet, professional, fairly easy going and open minded. I take care of myself and my space but also like to relax and go out with friends at night. I like to workout, go to the gym, travel, go to the bars on the weekend. Open to 1 or 2 roommates but not looking to exceed $2000 a month (everything included), preferably cheaper if possible.
