Seeking room in Brooklyn/Queens for June 1st :)

Hello! My Facebook is super out of date and I don’t really have any other social media, so here is a little bit about me:

I'm 25 and I'm originally from Minnesota. I moved to New York to go to NYU when I was 19 and I fell in love with the city. I was away for a little bit teaching English lessons/doing translation work in Colombia and visiting my family in Minnesota, but now I'm back in New York and I'm planning to stay for a while.

I work remotely for an insurance company, so I usually will be at home on week days. I like being at home so I can get chores done while I'm "working" but sometimes I go to cafes.

In the evenings and on the weekend, I usually have plans with my friends or with my boyfriend, so I will be out a lot. If I'm not out, I'm usually in my room reading or in the kitchen cooking something I found on the internet. Some of my other hobbies include running, MMA, languages (I'm learning French on Duolingo!), creative writing, and basically anything remotely interesting that I have time for.

Overall, I would say I'm a clean person. My worst habit is probably that I tend to leave things on surfaces that don't belong there, but I'm good about doing a periodic sweep to put everything back in its place! Keeping the bathroom clean and doing to the dishes in a timely manner are the two things that matter most to me and I also try to vacuum at least once a week.

Moving is hell, so I would love to find a place to stay for at least six months. I'm looking for friendly, relaxed roommates who are reasonably clean. Unfortunately, I am allergic to anything with fur, so it would have to be a furry-pet-free apartment. Reptiles/amphibians/insects are totally cool, though!

I would also love to find roommates who would be cool with my boyfriend staying with us from July 1st - August 30th and/or October 15th - November 30th. His lease is up in July and he has to travel back to LA to take care of some family things, so it would be awesome for him to not have to try to find a place to stay for those short periods of time. He is down to pick up the gas/electric or internet bill for everyone while he is staying and he would be super respectful/helpful. This isn't necessarily a dealbreaker for me, but it would be really nice to have.
