Former NYer finally made it back & searching for a peaceful clean non-toxic place

Prefer 6+ month ( Min 3 month)
Fullsize bathtub and Functional kitchen are Must Haves
(I cook AND I bathe!)
Queen Bed (preferred)
Laundry in apt (or bldg) a major plus.
And I won't complain if you have a piano!

Ideal bedroom has a Queen bed with enough space to relax and not feel cramped.

Temperature control and air flow make NYC apt life livable so as many of these as possible: A/C, Ceiling Fan and windows that open (hopefully to something!) Especially when you have old radiators that blast heat!)

Truth is, a lower budget allows me the freedom to visit my elderly sick parents in TX more often.

Partial to Manhattan because of the walkability and easy access to current obligations
However, open to explore anything under 30 min ride to Midtown
Close proximity to Transit is important. As are walkability and neighborhood services. This is NYC- I want to live in it!

This search has taken much longer because it took a back seat right after posting here when my Mom's health took a sudden decline. She recently passed.
My current temp space has been flexible because of the situation but I really need to find a place for several months that will allow me to get settled back into a NY rhythm.

In my former NY life I was union set decorator for film & TV
Still an active member of IATSE Local 52 and will be easing back into work while also exploring new options and finishing up a few ongoing projects.
My side projects are usually film and art related.
