✨Former NYer In Search of Peaceful Clean Apt
Former NYer finally made it back & searching for a peaceful clean non-toxic place
Prefer 6+ month ( Min 3 month)
Fullsize bathtub and Functional kitchen are Must Haves
(I cook AND I bathe!)
Queen Bed (preferred)
Laundry in apt (or bldg) a major plus.
And I won't complain if you have a piano!
Ideal bedroom has a Queen bed with enough space to relax and not feel cramped.
Temperature control and air flow make NYC apt life livable so as many of these as possible: A/C, Ceiling Fan and windows that open (hopefully to something!) Especially when you have old radiators that blast heat!)
Basically:
✨Clean, Peaceful, Functional Space✨
Where you call home should feel like a sanctuary.
Hoping to fiind someone of a similar mindset who appreciates a non-toxic environment,
Smells are part of life, it’s just better when they come from nature instead of a chemical factory. 9/11 left me with allergic asthma and a sensitivity to chemical fragrances and chemical cleaners, I'm happy to be the one to provide the non-toxic fragrance free laundry & cleaning products. As well as help you find a non-toxic replacement for anything you're holding onto.
Everyone wins!
Ideal budget is < 1500/ mo with bills
Could strecth a little for an ideal situation
Truth is, a lower budget allows me the freedom to visit my elderly sick parents in TX more often.
Partial to Manhattan because of the walkability and easy access to current obligations
However, open to explore anything under 30 min ride to Midtown
Close proximity to Transit is important. As are walkability and neighborhood services. This is NYC- I want to live in it!
Furnished or partially furnished.
Open to exploring all viable possibilities.
ME:
My name is Kim (she/her)
Returned to NYC after being in Texas for family health situations. Goal is to eventually find a long term place. Still exploring the option to buy.
Or get serious about leaving US if things don't shift directions (kidding. not.)
This search has taken much longer because it took a back seat right after posting here when my Mom's health took a sudden decline. She recently passed.
My current temp space has been flexible because of the situation but I really need to find a place for several months that will allow me to get settled back into a NY rhythm.
In my former NY life I was union set decorator for film & TV
Still an active member of IATSE Local 52 and will be easing back into work while also exploring new options and finishing up a few ongoing projects.
My side projects are usually film and art related.
Mature cis F, creative mindset, open minded.
Respectful and courteous tenant/roommate/guest.
Fun and funny extroverted introvert.
LGBTQ+ ally; .
Great credit (810+) Financially responsible.
Love animals but prefer a pet free home. Not a deal breaker but it would be an exception.
Still Covid aware & still test regularly as I have still have eldetly sick parents and need to be able to see them on short notice.
Great recycler. Good with plants. Excellent cook. Enjoy a good dinner party, reading, museums, films and music. Love to travel.
So-so on writing room wanted ads.
