Graduate looking for a year lease

Hi!
I just graduated from upenn in philly and am looking to spend my gap year before grad school working in nyc. My best friend lives there and I've spent the summer in the city before.

I've lived in a house with 4 other girls for 2 years so I am very used to having a roommate and sharing responsibilities and spaces including a bathroom. I was in charge of paying our landlord rent and also paying the gas and electricity bills so I am very good about paying things on time :).

I am very extroverted but also love a good cozy night in. NYC has so many cool activities so I'm excited for that. I don't cook a lot (I usually just heat things up or make sandwiches). I'm an early bird, I usually wake up at 7am but I'm very mindful in the mornings to not make too much noise (I used to live with my friends who are night owls). I usually try to be out and about so I'm not home very often so my room will be pretty quiet. I don't own much stuff either so space isn't an issue, I really only need a bed and closet. I clean every Sunday (vacuum/sweep/wipe/laundry), but for things that pile up like dishes or trash I like to do them every day.

I'm looking for a place for ideally a year. I don't mind pets, I love to go on walks so I would love a four legged walking buddy. I also love cats too (lived with 2 before!). I socially drink but that's about it (no smoking or vapes or hard drugs here). I do not have a boyfriend or any male regular guest like that.
