Student seeking affordable room

I’m part of the queer community and have a big interest in cooking and baking. If you pitch in with the food budget, I’ll do most of the cooking/prep/baking if you do some of the clean-up. I’m drama, pet, and child-free. I will occasionally have an overnight guest (my partner, twenty-seven, or little sister, fifteen but very mature, no more than one to two nights every one to three months) but will mainly be on my own. I don’t smoke. I don’t drink. I’m a full-time student at WSUV and will be studying a LOT, so you can expect me to be fairly quiet. I will 100% tell you a daily bad pun and crack jokes if we vibe. Relatively clean, well-organized, willing to share a bathroom, but would prefer my own bedroom. I’m allergic to shellfish, so I ask you to keep any separate from anything of mine. Looking to move to Vancouver in mid-August. I would prefer to rent a room privately in an owned residence. My budget is $700/month, and I don’t care how big the room is as long as it can fit a full-sized bed, a desk, and a dresser. I have no pet allergies, and I’m very pet-friendly! I have no preference for the gender of my roommate as long as you are LGBTQ+ friendly. I’m hard of hearing and do wear hearing aids, but sometimes I can be a little loud on accident, so feel free to shush me. I’m getting my BA in English at WSUV and working twenty to thirty hours a week, hence the low budget and wanting to rent privately. Hope to hear from ya, toodaloo!
