ACtive Semi-Retiree looking for Room, Studio, Shar

My name is Dane Addison and I am writing in search of a room/space to rent.

Here is some info about me – don’t let the “Retired” part scare you off – please. I am very active socially, have a fairly large circle of friends, am very outgoing and young at heart. I travel, get out and about as often as I can.

The “retirement” part allows me to pick and choose the work that I do and am currently doing some outside consulting work for a couple of local bars and restaurants.

I have over 30 year’s experience in executive Hotel and Hospitality management including General Manager of the Delta King Hotel in Old Sac for 4 years. Most recently I was the Food and Beverage Director for Hotel Winters/Springboard Hospitality.

Again, the Social Security income allows me to be comfortable in renting a room or small studio location and my preference is to be close to downtown/midtown Sacramento. I currently live in Dixon and want to get back closer to Sac.

• Income: $1350 per month From Social Security. $800 per month outside contract work
• I am a light smoker but very respectful = have never smoked in the home or car
• I am very social and like to go out periodically. Tend to hit happy hour every once in a while
• I tend not to entertain at home
• I do not currently have a vehicle but plan on purchasing in the very near future. At the moment I do not need any space for parking
• Have never had any issues with roommates I have shared with – would be happy to give the names and contact info for recent (2021-2023) guys I shared a house with – one of which was the landlord

• Current landlord is cool and will be happy to provide reference. I love living where I am but need to be back downtown.
• I am very, very LBGTQ friendly and active in local organizations when I can be.
