Seeking Roommate!

I'm looking for a NYC-based roommate to EITHER find an apartment with OR renew my current lease with (if my landlord is willing to negotiate)!
About me- I'm a 30 year old hiring manager who comes with a sweet, orange cat named Percy. I'm super easy going, love anything Broadway, and spend my spare time reading, binging shows, or hanging with friends.

A little about my place- My lease on Roosevelt Island is up at the end of May and I would love to stay in my current apartment if possible. My roommate and I are currently paying $1750 each (with all utilities but internet included). I am working to negotiate the rent for the next year, but need someone to sign on with me! The apartment itself is 2br 1ba with tons of natural light, floor-to-ceiling windows, a dishwasher, in-building laundry, a spacious living room, and did I mention the INCREDIBLE view of the Manhattan skyline? If the landlord doesn't negotiate, we can look for a new place together!

A little about you- Ideally someone who is kind, respectful, and clean (and not allergic to cats). I'd love to be friends, but if that's not your thing, I totally understand as long as we get along enough to co-exist. Looking for a late May/Early June move-in! p. s. no smokers please! Thanks!
