Graduate Student + Professional Looking for a Home

Hey there!

I’m in the middle of selling my home as I am going through a separation, which is overwhelming despite being the best decision. Uff.

Although overwhelmed, I am excited to find a new home for myself and my dog, Hope, who loves cuddles and walks and has been my best friend for five years. She is literally the most important family member, and loves to cuddle!

A little about me:

I’m a native Houstonian from SW (central) Houston. I work from home and have quite a flexible schedule. Sometimes, I travel, primarily statewide, but nationally at times. My work is in non-profit/public health. I am also a first-year graduate student and, through my scholarship attend school in person during certain times of the year. I enjoy taking it easy and going on long walks during my free time. I do love strength training classes, and when I was younger, I was a coach. I’m hoping to get back into the gym after things settle a bit for me.

Some must-haves: someone who respects Hope (because the baby girl has been through it too and recently battled cancer). Yes, she is a pet to some, but again, she is my best friend and family. Unfortunately, she doesn’t love cats, even though I do. So, no cats—also someone who communicates well. If something is bothering you, I need to know because I likely don’t. I would also love to live where I can go for long walks. I love green spaces and picnics.
