Needs Housing: Student/Ecologist From West Coast
Hello,
I'm a recent arrival to the city (Fall. 2023), from west coast (OR/CA), for grad school at Columbia. I've spent the majority of the last decade in wide open spaces and wild places for work as a field ecologist so NYC is a major adjustment for me.
I'm pretty independent & place a high value on personal boundaries- but I also really appreciate people, and getting to know the ones I cross paths with in this life.
In my freetime I try to write songs, poetry, paint & draw, enjoy running, recreating outside, birding etc. I have a vehicle but very few things.
