Dr Kirk Peterson DC

In 1989 at the age of 21, Dr. Kirk Peterson was a competitive bodybuilder and personal trainer in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He had the good fortune of having several clients who were chiropractors and leaders in the profession who encouraged him and provided him with his first chiropractic experience. Having had a construction accident several years prior, Dr. Peterson had a herniated disc in his neck and intense radiating pain along with numbness in his arm and hand....Upon their invitation, Dr. Peterson began to receive Chiropractic adjustments from one of his client chiropractors. He realized almost immediately the life-changing potential that chiropractic held for all people. Dr. Peterson's undergraduate studies took place in Stillwater, Oklahoma at Oklahoma State University. He subsequently studied and received his Doctorate at Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, graduating in August of 2007. Through his experiences academically and in practice, Dr. Peterson continues to be amazed by the resilience of the human body given proper function of the nervous system through chiropractic adjustments. Dr. Peterson specializes in manual adjusting techniques and remains a major advocate for proper nutrition and exercise.
