Best polyglot roommate you'll ever have!

Hi! My name's Yedda and I'm a translator and interpreter. Besides working as a freelancer, I work for the NY State courts. I speak a few languages, and have been living in NY for 23 years.
I'm a big museum and concert lover. You'll always find me at a Patti Smith, U2, Foo Fighters or Bruce Springsteen show (among others).
I'm looking for a quiet, clean, peaceful and pleasant place in Astoria, or LIC. A good size bedroom, with a good size closet. I do not have a lot of furniture anymore, but it would be nice to be able to put as much as possible inside the closet (of course, one can always find ways to organize, once you see what you're dealing with). A place where I would have some space in the bathroom to put my toiletries, and space in the kitchen to place my food and all that.
It'd be nice to not feel 'trapped' inside a bedroom and free to hang out in the common areas.
I'm a mature person, and I do respect people, their belongings and house rules. I clean up after myself and enjoy living in a place that's clean (although I'm not a neat freak). I believe in sharing chores and dialogue.
