Working Professional Seeking NYC Sublet

Hello! I am relocating back to New York due to a promotion. I am currently searching for a room or, ideally, a sublet of an entire apartment.
A little about me: I work full time for the United Nations in a salaried position and also have two additional legal and verifiable sources of income. I am hardworking, responsible, clean, respectful, and easygoing. I work remotely, so I can be a bit of a homebody during the week. I actually enjoy working from home and, if I am being honest, I much prefer it to sitting in traffic on the way to the office! I do have a car, but I have a pretty quiet lifestyle and am not constantly coming and going.

I am also in school working toward my master’s degree and PhD, so between work and school, I stay pretty busy. When I actually have time to breathe, I enjoy cooking, playing board games, and even getting in a little video game time. I love history, science, philosophy, technology, writing, and learning new things. I am definitely someone who can have a great conversation about just about anything, but I also appreciate being able to shut the door, relax, and enjoy some peace and quiet.

I am also a mom to an eight year old son who is sweet, respectful, and mild mannered. He spends four days each week with me and the remainder of the week with his father. We also have no pets.

Because I work remotely, attend school, and spend a good amount of time at home, having a peaceful and comfortable living environment is important to me. I am looking for a clean, respectful home where everyone can enjoy their space and feel comfortable.

I am currently focused on getting settled back in New York, saving money, and working toward purchasing my own home. I am happy to provide proof of income, employment verification, references, or any other documentation you may need.
