Seeking a friendly, communicative shared home

Hi! I’m looking for a room with a private, attached bathroom. Hard floors, no upstairs neighbors and some kind of view that isn’t a wall! Longterm.

I’d love a situation that feels friendly, kind, communicative (we don’t have to be best friends but I want us both to feel at ease at home).

I am a writer, performer (less now since Covid) and will often work from my room. I also love a neighborhood I can walk in.

Would love west pasadena, South pasadena, Eagle Rock, Atwater, Silver Lake, Los Feliz. But open to Studio City, Toluca Lake as well.

I’m very clean (and use nothing toxic or fragranced due to chemical sensitivities). I’m still covid cautious and hoping for someone similar.

I’ve had issues with leaks/ mold in the past so I’m really wanting a place that is well-maintained and hasn’t had water damage in the past.

It feels strange to look for a roommate at this age but I’m also kind of over living alone, paying so much more etc. Longing for a time when there was more neighborly community and connection. So until I figure out time hopping… I’m looking!
