Seeking private room for long term rental

I?m primarily looking for a place in Brooklyn or Queens: The closer to the East River the better

Eastern Manhattan from the top of Central Park on southward would also interest me. And I?d consider something in the Journal Square area, too

[My move-in date can be negotiated, but it would be a lot easier for me if I could not risk paying double-rent in July or August]

I?m a pretty hands-off roommate who?s looking for a clean and comfortable place to keep on living in NYC

I?m an actor/model and have been living here for five years by juggling a variety of jobs and gigs; Always keeping the rent paid and the lights on, though :)

When I?m not downtown, I tend to keep to myself as I binge tv shows, read, audition-hunt, or play video games. That doesn?t mean I?m not sociable from time to time. But early in the morning or after a long work shift, I?m pretty content to be an introvert

I?m a bit of a fantasy nerd, so if you?re into D&D, GoT, LotR, Star Wars, etc. ... We?ll probably have plenty to chat about :)

Oh, and I have some of my own furniture. Particularly a queen-sized mattress, desk and dresser which I?d prefer to keep if I can. Pretty much in that order
