Looking for a housemate to start a new lease!

If you're viewing this listing because you're explicitly looking for a housemate to fill an existing lease (despite the title), please contact me with details - I'm all ears. That being said, please also note that I have gone through this process too many times to fall for stupid scams. I will not wire any money down as a "deposit" until I have visited the residence and have seen proof of ownership, end of story. Moving on:

I'm looking to start a new lease with a housemate in a 2bed/2bath. The location I have in mind is called "Axis at One Pine" - I'm currently living here, but my current housemate is not interested in renewing the lease, so I need to find someone new. Rent will be about 700-800/month without utilities (the exact price may slightly change based on availability of apartments and the unit chosen). I'm also interested in looking at other apartment complexes nearby, but would prefer not to stray too far away from the area.

About me: I'm a quiet non-smoker that works a pretty standard 9-6 as a toy designer, and I generally will keep to myself unless you want to talk. I'm pretty big on respecting people's personal belongings, including food and utensils. In fact, I rarely cook (unless you count making rice in a rice cooker), so the kitchen will be available to you almost 24/7. I also have a dog who will be my room mate, so I feel like he needs his own description.

About my dog, Loki: He's a 35lb Pomeranian-Husky mix. Fully potty trained, very quiet around both people and other dogs (unless someone knocks on the door), and extremely friendly. Despite his breed, he does not shed significantly except for twice a year for ~2 week periods, where he'll blow his coat out. As for his bad habits: he loves his squeaky toys, so you will hear squeaking throughout the day, especially when I'm playing with him at home. On occasion, he'll get zoomies at 1 am in the morning, so you may hear that too. He is also has a tendency to steal plush toys and paper/napkins/tp on rare occasion if left out. Thankfully, he has never gone after electronics, wires, or other durable materials.

Loki pretty much goes everywhere with me so long as I'm not at work. He's kind of like my kid, so his wellbeing will never, ever be your responsibility - unless something terrible happens to me and I'm physically incapable of caring for him, in which hopefully you're the kind of person that would not mind taking care of him in that sort of event. That being said, if you aren't someone who'll be fine with the ambient noise and the idea of having a dog in the house, please do not contact me - it will definitely not work out.
