Moving to NYC

Hello Everyone,

My name is Omar. I am originally from San Francisco, but I've been living and working in Washington, D. C. for the past 6 years in international relations. I am in the midst of a career transition and am looking to make the great leap to NYC (a bit of a scary feeling, I have to admit!). I would ideally like to find a place to set up shop, so I can begin the job search. Not to worry, however, rent won't be a problem. I'm a home-owner and a responsible dude.

A bit about me: outgoing and funny, kind, relaxed, "normal" and well-adjusted, and extremely responsible. As an aforementioned homeowner myself, I understand the importance of finding (and being) a responsible and honest tenant. I'm used to living alone, but I figured this would be a good way to ease my way into NYC.

Looking for equally responsible, friendly, and respectful roomies. I'd prefer no pets, if that's possible.
