Looking for a pet-friendly room to rent in August

Hi, I?m Carly. I?m an 18 year old girl looking for a room to rent in Berkeley that is pet-friendly. Maximum budget is $800 a month, but I?d prefer less. I wouldn?t be moving in till August.

I?d like a roommate who is friendly but allows for alone time. It would be awesome to find someone with hobbies in common with me. Mine are scuba diving, art, hiking, photography, traveling, volunteering, and exploring. That?s not a requirement though.

I don?t feel comfortable living with solely a male, but if there was also a woman then that would be fine. Our common areas should be kept fairly clean and put together- I?m not a neat freak though lol. No smoking indoors but outdoors is ok. People coming over is fine just give me a heads up beforehand. OCCASIONAL parties are fine but please ask my permission beforehand and be prepared for the possibility of me saying no if I have too much schoolwork to do.

As a roommate I would pay all my bills on time, help make meals, and do chores consistently. I enjoy socializing but also need to be by myself some of the time. I would have friends over sometimes but highly doubt I?d ever throw a party. I will be 100% responsible for my pets and they will live in my room.
