Law School Student Looking for Room

Hi! My name is Valerie. I'm a 24 year old law student in my last year who will be commuting daily to queens. I will be working this coming summer a lot in kew gardens queens, so ill only be around during the evenings weekdays.

I've been living in queens to be near law school for two years, but I treat law school as a 9-5 pm (so standard hours). I've been living with roommates for two years who are graduating law school so they had to move out of our place, but they can give me a reference upon request.

Despite my typically heavy workload, I still always find time to go out during the week - whether that means for drinks/happy hour, dinner or going out to a bar on the weekend. I also love to cook (for myself or others)!

My ideal living situation is a place where I live with people who I consider friends, but who also respect my privacy as much as I respect theirs (i mean this in the simplest of ways, for example: a roommate who will knock and not just barge into your room or go into your space while you're not there). I just want somewhere I can be comfortable and not have tension/conflict in my living space. I'm super easy going and am looking for similar people. I consider myself a clean person in shared spaces, but it doesn't bother me if there's a dish or two in the sink if a roommate couldn't get to it (things happens, its ok!).

I don't mind if groups are over occasionally or if guests stay over! I don't really host big group things, but i don't mind if my roommates have people over. i'm likely to be out of the apartment a night or two a week. I don't drink excessively, but I do love a glass of wine after coming home from work and cooking or going out on the weekends.

I am ideally looking for a friendly household! (I do not smoke cigarettes or tobacco)

I am hoping to sign a year lease and move in June 1. I can contribute to the space with stuff if needed!
