My personal life consists of working, spending time with family, attending church services, and a great support system of friends. At this time, I am looking for a studio apartment or a single-occupancy room to rent.
In an effort to be transparent with potential landlords from the start, I want to divulge that I have a prior conviction on my record from an offense in 2003 and I am currently listed on the NYS Registry as a result. If necessary, I am more than willing to further discuss with any potential landlord in order to address any concerns that they may have.
I am seeking a landlord that is willing to give someone in my particular circumstance an opportunity to be considered as a potential tenant. I understand that will take a much higher degree of grace and much greater level of understanding from any person, but I am simply asking for the chance to live in a safe and healthy environment, a place to call home where I am able to continue to live a quiet and simple life.
I have been renting a single-occupancy room from my current landlord almost 7 years now and can confidently say that my overall rental history demonstrates that I have been a clean, quiet, respectful, trustworthy tenant. My rent has always been consistently paid on time (NEVER LATER THAN THE 1ST OF THE MONTH). And within those 7 years, there has never been, nor have I ever caused, any issues, any problems, or any trouble whatsoever for my current landlord, and most especially, with any other tenants in the apartment or in other apartments within the home.
I can definitely arrange for potential landlords to speak with my current landlord who can provide a reference as well as vouge for my positive record as his tenant. If considered as a potential tenant, I will always remain in compliance with the guidelines of any rental lease agreement and above all else, will demonstrate nothing but the utmost respect for the personal safety, security, and space of others within the residence at all times.
