Got a room in Berkeley?
Hi! I'm looking to rent a room (doesn't have to be big) in a shared apartment.
I have been living in shared apartments for about 7 years during my studies, and have never received any complaints. I don't smoke or do drugs, and respect other peoples privacy. What's yours is yours - unless you wish to share. And I always ask before using something that is not mine, or shared.
I like being social with my flatmates, and won't be hiding in my room all day. I enjoy going out for movies, having a beer at a pub, playing board games, and arranging a party from time to time. You will normally find me in my room or chilling in the shared area with a book. Some of my interests might come off as a bit nerdy, but I am not obsessed about them.
I most often cook my own dinner, as is usual where I am from (due to the ridiculous cost of eating out). I don't cook crazy things. Probably the most smelly ingredient ever use is garlic, so no worries about the odor. I'm up for shared meals from time to time if that's the way you do it.
Hope to hear back from you! Send me an email or contact me here if you want to get in touch.
