Queer Roomie in Edgewater (Private Bed + Bath)

Hi! I’m looking for a (queer-preferred) roommate in Edgewater. I live in a 2 bed/2 bath and my current roommate is moving out of state for a second year residency program.

We love our space and want to try to hold onto it for this upcoming year, and are in search of someone to help with that - and live with me here! That said, this would strictly be a 12-month arrangement (July 24 - July 25).

I have a senior dog (M) and young cat (M) - we are pet-friendly but would prefer our furry roommates meet first to assess any reactions.

The space is a secured building (fob + Butterfly entry system). There is a secured garage, I currently use our assigned parking spaces. Additional spaces often go up for ‘rent’ from other tenants.

The space available is a 1-bedroom with a bathroom off of it, separated from the rest of the space via a nook. As we currently live, this bathroom is strictly used by my roommate. I occupy the master and have a bathroom attached.

We would share the ‘living space’ which is furnished, as well as the kitchen. We have a gas stove (gas/water incl. in rent) and pay electric/internet separately.

I am keen on finding someone who meshes with our existing setup + lifestyle, we prefer to keep the space a ‘haven’ from work and the outside world. The space is never too loud and we prefer a relaxed ambiance, especially with a senior pet.
