Seeking Roomate in Astoria (3bed/1bath)

Hi all,

My roommate and I are looking to fill the primary bedroom of our 3bed/1bath apartment in Astoria.

We are both 30/31 and work and are graduate students. We're lowkey and like to keep shared spaces clean and have open communication. I'm male (and queer) and she's female.

We are on the first floor in a quiet townhouse-style building.

The bedroom is 10.5 ft x 16.25 ft with a walk-in closet that is 4 ft x 6 ft.

Our eat-in kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, gas stove, and oven.

Plus we have a living room, two hallway closets, and a front patio with small dirt patches for gardening.

There is an in-building washer and dryer included in rent. Also water, heat, and some electricity are included in rent. Rent is $1300 if single or $1450 for couples. Additional monthly utilities would be for some electricity and wifi and average to around $70-90 per month. No additional fee for cats.

The 1-year lease starts May 1st! You would co-sign with us. Early move-in date is possible.

The roommate who is leaving loves the apartment and says it's the best apartment they've had in all their 10+ years of living in New York. They're only leaving to move in with their partner. (The cat in the photos will be leaving too.)

The apartment is less than a 10 min. walk to the Ferry or N/W line and a short bus ride to the F line.

Many grocery stores, restaurants, and bars are within walking distance and are near the N/W line stops.
