I have a furnished private room available, looking for 1 roommate starting Aug 14, in a 1,400sq ft 2BR apartment in a 2-story private house on the border of Sunset Park and Bay Ridge. It's a 10 min walk to the shoreline, Owl's Head Park and Shore Road Promenade and 30-min bike ride to Coney Island via the promenade, near Industry City and Five Burroughs Brewery.

Commute: Two avenues from R/N lines at 59th St. station (3 express stops into the city.) transfer to D line at 36th St.

One avenue to the NYC ferry: 1 stop to Wall Street; 1 stop to Rockaway Beach, and stops to Governor's Island, Dumbo and Williamsburg.

The apartment is partially furnished. I live in 1 of the bedrooms. The common areas include a spacious living and dining rooms, separate full-kitchen, shared bathroom. The apartment is sunny and quiet in a safe neighborhood.

Me: male in early 40s, run a boutique PR firm in the arts & fashion. I have a Toy Yorkshire Terrier, no additional pets permitted.

Neighborhood: Multicultural, authentic NYC neighborhood with shops, grocery stores, bars, restaurants, laundry, gym/cross Fit, tennis

Move-in details -
Available starting Aug 14. You will be subletting the room from me, ideally with a commitment of at least 6 months. First and last month rent due upon move-in.

WiFi included. Electric + Gas to be slit, typically around $35/month. There is on-street parking. No smoking.
